Is Our Government For The People Or For Themselves?









When I read the Editorial opinion, titled: "Our View: Some lawmakers still trying to hide your access to public notices"- in the Daily Herald, Roanoke Rapids, NC, dated Wednesday, June 1, 2011 11:19 am “http://www.rrdailyherald.com/?rss=opinion/sound_off

It made me think of The Declaration of Independence. Because of the abuses of the Colonies by King of Great Britain, that the Declaration of Independence is "for the people and by the people". In the text, they listed the facts of the Kings repeated abuse against the 13 States. It reminds me of the directions American Governments seems to be heading back to the King George style to control and limit information to the people of the colonies. From the White House, Congress, States down to a” small city" government, there seems to be a shroud of secrecy to keep information from citizens. The politicians of today have changed the wording, "For the People By the People, that I think is a very important foundation of the government to, For the politicians and by the politicians. Plato quotes “If absolute power corrupts absolutely" :middle class" 72% of American population have given the powers to the upper class. How many Presidents, Senators, and politicians come from the working class or middle class making under $50,000 a year. How many of the 44 Presidents were former politicians before being elected The answer, 41. The majority of all politician come from upper class. Money Bought the White House 9 out of 10 presidents, and the 82 % of the Senate seats. It is time for people to take back their government, not by force, by votes. We cannot out spend the wealthy that does not want a president from the "middle class", but we can out vote them.



Here are several factual charges against the King of Britains, that formed the Revolution and the creation of The Declaration of Independence:

1He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments"

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpation's, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
